![]() i also could be wrong, but i don't think the thing from the stars wanders until after you beat the very first CoM mission. Other than the thing from the stars wandering, it doesn't effect your base campaign at all. you don't really need to avoid him though becuase he's not all that hard and he has a chance of giving a hero unique positive quirks upon kill and he can drop unique trinkets. There's a new "thing from the stars" boss that will wander random dungeons but if you want to avoid it, the game always tells you what dungeon it'll be in when you choose a mission. the endless mode is the champion-difficulty farmstead mission but after you beat the veteran mission you unlock mercenaries specifically for the endless gamemode. the first level requires level 0-2 heroes, then it goes on to veteran heroes, then champion heroes. she sells unique crystalline trinkets which are honestly pretty good I'm a cheapskate unless given a good reason it's an entirely optional area that basically gives you a kill count to climb, and you're rewarded with a new shard resource which you can spend at a new town NPC who is found inside the nomad wagon.
